양념이라 고기 퀄리티는 사실 별 기대를 안했는데 생각보다 고기가 엄청 신선해요. 고기값도 많이 오르는 요즈음인데 가격도 리즈너블!

기대를 많이 안했는데. 생각했던 것보다 맛있어요. 양념이 달지도 않고. 고기양도 2명이 먹기 적당하고. 고기도 기름이 많이 없어서 괜찮아요.

울타리 갈비는 리뷰가 900개가 넘길래, “솔직히 갈비는 웬만하면 다 맛있잖아. 그냥 외국인이 좋아하는 달달한 맛이겠지, 트레이더 조 제품처럼” 하고 그냥 지나쳤던 제품이에요.
저는 원래 달달한 양념을 좋아하지 않아서, 일부러 주문을 미루고 있었죠.

늘 시키던 것만 주문하다가, 문득 생각했어요. 울타리 정육이 한 번도 배신한 적이 없는데, 갈비도 다를까?
결국 호기심을 못 이기고 1파운드 포장 두 개를 주문했습니다.

솔직히 말하면, 울타리 갈비는 확실히 달랐습니다. 기름기는 적당? 아니, 거의 없어서 느끼하지 않고, 단맛도 은은하게 감돌아 자극적이지 않아요.
고기 본연의 풍미가 살아 있는, 정말 깔끔하고 기분 좋은 단맛.
맛있다? 그건 기본이에요. ‘또 먹고 싶다’가 본능적으로 떠오르는 갈비입니다.

전에 H마트나 트레이더 조에서 사먹던 갈비는 비계가 많고 기름지며 달아서 금방 질렸는데, 울타리 갈비는 끝까지 맛있게 먹었어요.
살살 녹는 살코기와 은은한 단맛 덕분에 밥과 함께하면 완벽한 한 끼가 됩니다. 한입 먹을 때마다 “이래서 리뷰가 900개였구나” 싶더군요.
리뷰가 좋은 데는 그만한 이유가 있다는 걸 다시 한 번 알게 됐습니다.

당연히 다음 주문은 3파운드로 들어가야죠 ㅎㅎ 세일까지 해주시면 바로 쟁여둡니다.
간단하게 식사 차리기에도 훌륭하고, 한입 먹는 순간 살살 녹는 살코기와 풍미가 입안 가득 퍼져 ‘또 먹고 싶다’가 먼저 떠오르는 갈비입니다.
이 가격에 이 퀄리티라면 절대 비싸지 않아요. 이렇게 만족스러운 갈비는 쉽게 만나기 어렵습니다.
한 번 맛보면 쉽게 잊히지 않는, ‘다시 찾게 되는 맛’의 정석을 보여주는 갈비입니다.
