The sesame seed oil comes from Gyeongsangbuk-do Yeongju where mount Sobaek is located. Famous for apples, red ginseng, cows, and viscose, Yeongju gets a lot of sunlight year-round and has frequent climate variations, perfect for farm produce and livestock production.

After drying harvested perilla seeds grown at the foot of Mount Sobaek, the remaining sesames are manually shaken offed. Then the seeds are stir-fried, hydraulically driven compressed, and extracted as an oil in a clean production facility that strictly keeps the sanitation law of Korea.
