[SkyFarm] Sliced Lotus Root 300g x 2 Packs
Fresh Korean lotus root slices are hygienically flash-frozen and packaged cleanly without any additives.
Braised Lotus Root (Yeongeun Jorim)
1. In a pot, add vinegar to enough water to cover the lotus root slices. Blanch for about 2 minutes to remove bitterness and prevent discoloration.
2. Drain the lotus root using a strainer.
3. Mix soy sauce, sugar, and corn syrup to make the seasoning sauce.
4. Add the lotus root and sauce to a pot. Boil over high heat, then reduce to medium heat and simmer until the sauce thickens.
5. When almost fully reduced, add more corn syrup for a glossy finish.
6. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top to finish.
