Perilla leaves with stems, which are softer and more fragrant than regular perilla leaves, are hygienically blanched, then quickly frozen and stored without any additives.
How to Make Stir-Fried Perilla Leaves:
1. Mix blanched perilla leaves with minced garlic, soy sauce, and perilla oil until well seasoned.
2. Heat oil in a pan and stir-fry the seasoned perilla leaves.
3. Add perilla seed powder and stir-fry once more.
4. Transfer the stir-fried perilla leaves to a plate and garnish with chopped scallions. Add salt if needed.
