Traditional Taste
Walnut Cake with Red Bean Paste 600g (20g x 30 ct)
Starting in Cheonan in 1934 and continuing through four generations, this is Korea's very first walnut cake: [Hakhwa1934] Walnut cake with red bean paste. Experience the deep flavor and history of the original, certified as a Traditional Culture Family and ranked #1 in bakery awards, now from the comfort of your home.

Preserving Traditional Methods for Nearly 100 Years
With the pride of being Korea's first walnut cake, we have maintained traditional manufacturing methods for nearly a century. Every dawn, we boil the filling in cauldrons and add Hakhwa's unique technology to deliver a deep, rich flavor that no one else can imitate.

Premium Flavors Perfected with Selected Ingredients
We carefully select and use fresh walnuts from clean regions of California, fresh eggs sourced daily from farms, and Cheonan milk for local coexistence. The rich filling, made of 100% red beans, contains no artificial colors, preservatives, or flavors, allowing you to fully experience the premium harmony of natural sweetness and deep nuttiness.

Soft and Moist Texture That Does Not Harden
We stick to the traditional method of wrapping each individual cake in paper (Hwaji) to prevent moisture evaporation and maintain its original moistness. Thanks to this, you can enjoy the soft and fluffy texture even after time has passed.

Highlights
- The original Cheonan walnut cake, continuing for 4 generations since 1934

Wooltari's Tips

How to Enjoy
For a soft texture
Sprinkle a little water on the frozen walnut cake and microwave for about 1 minute.
For a crispy texture
Bake the frozen walnut cake in an air fryer at 180-200°C (356-392°F) for 10 minutes to enjoy a "crispy on the outside, moist on the inside" treat.
To enjoy it cool
Eat the frozen walnut cake as is or after natural thawing for about 15 minutes to enjoy it like a cool ice cream treat.
Brand Story

In 1934, during the Japanese colonial era, the late founders Shim Bok-sun and Jo Gwi-geum introduced walnut cakes to the world with the single-minded goal of creating a snack that could fill the hearts and stomachs of the Korean people. Just like the meaning of the name Hakhwa—to shine long like a crane, a symbol of longevity—the brand has been silently writing the history of Korean walnut cakes for nearly 100 years across four generations.

The Consistency and Sincerity of the Original, Unchanged by Time
Hakhwa Walnut Cake protects the pride of the original by adhering to traditional methods in front of the cauldron every dawn, never compromising on quality. Based on the unchanging taste loved across generations and the sincerity contained within, we deliver deep heart and value to your table.
